Receiving Coordinator-QQP

This position functions as the receiving coordinator. Responsibilities include receiving and loading trucks; pickup and deliveries; shrink wrap large orders; inventory control on all skids, parts, and rolls ; organizing the warehouse; and handling rolls for the presses

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Help achieve the company’s customer service, profit, sales, and growth goals.
• Loading and unloading of all freight. This includes inspection and acceptance or rejection of the materials and proper handling of the paperwork such as packing slips, return authorizations, bill of lading slips, ect.
• Handle all paper and other raw materials inside the facility and place it according to the building storage plan and at the presses when required.
• Move all finished goods slated for fulfillment to the appropriate storage slots and retrieve it for small bindery when orders for shipment are received.
• Dispatch and load trucks for all outbound finished goods.
• Handle daily deliveries to the Post Office or customer docks.
• Handle all waste materials to its final destination whether it be recycling or disposal.
• Handle general cleanup and organization of the warehouse area and assist with moving or disposal of equipment, racking, etc.
• Assist with operating the facility parts/tool crib.
• Work with other departments to enhance customer service, operational efficiency, and interdepartmental cooperation.
• Follow department operational policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties assigned and those that may be necessary to achieve company and departmental goals.

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma; or GED; or 2 or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply basic math concepts (add, subtract, multiply, and divide). Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical and Working Conditions
The job is performed in a manufacturing facility with exposure to large equipment, noise, and materials related to the printing process. The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to occasionally bend, stoop or kneel.
• Ability to use hands and arms to type, reach, handle or feel.
• Ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
